Saphron (28), a former dental nurse, lives with her partner Matt in Bradford and is mum to two little girls. Find out more about her life and why Forever is so important to her below.

I was working as a dental nurse and, because I had my two daughters so close together, I wasn’t entitled to maternity pay with my second baby; so, I handed in my notice and didn’t return.

But this is only part of the story as to why and how I became involved in Forever. It was about so much more than the maternity pay I wasn’t entitled to.

Life had been challenging. In July 2020. we lost our baby son Ray who was born sleeping and experienced a rollercoaster of grief. Determined to channel our grief positively in our baby’s memory, we created ‘Rays Day’ to fundraise for the amazing neo-natal care we had received and support other charities that helped bereaved families. After ongoing tests and checks, we were given the all-clear to try for another baby. Our baby daughter Sienna arrived prematurely at 25 weeks, and we embarked on another roller-coaster – this time of worry.

We lived each day minute-by-minute with our tiny baby girl, watching her battle to live. And battle she did. My heart was constantly gripped by the fear that we might lose her. There were so many setbacks and medical interventions: three operations – two of them lifesaving – and somehow our little miracle made it through. I cannot begin to describe how grateful I was. And still am.

We were blessed with our second daughter less than a year later and, thankfully, she went to almost full term and was delivered at 35 weeks and a healthy weight. But life had not finished with us. In November 2022, I was suddenly taken ill with stomach pains and hospitalised while the doctors tried to establish what was wrong. I was both terrified that I had something that was going to be life-changing and distraught to be away from my babies. Following lumbar punctures and MRI scans, they found swelling on my spinal cord and I was put on a course of IV steroids and diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis: a swelling on my spine and brain. Thankfully, I responded to treatment – despite some setbacks – and was home in time for Christmas with my family.

I share all this because, when you have this kind of health scare when you’ve already been through so much, it changes you. Life is so precious and, having been so ill and so scared, I am now committed to being the healthiest I can be and appreciating every single moment.

In some ways, this prepared me perfectly for building my business with Forever. I am more resilient than I had ever thought possible, braver and will not settle. I am determined to be successful and live life on my terms. I joined Forever in October 2022 before I was taken ill and, since my recovery, I have become even more focused and determined to create an income and lifestyle that my family deserves.

My girls are now at nursery for two half-days, which has freed up some of my time. I’m passionate about being healthy and Forever’s products align completely with that. My Launch Party was a success and also helped build my belief that I could do this. I want to earn my own money, as financial independence is extremely important to me. I retail both online over social media and have started to do events where I have made some sales and, importantly, increased my network.

I have developed a good foundation and am generating an income which is significant enough to make a difference to our household. My retail customer base is growing, and I have started to develop a team. It’s progressing and I feel confident and optimistic about the future.

I’ve surprised myself in some ways by discovering that I’m actually quite good at speaking to people and feel so supported by my sponsor Lisa and the wider team. Like everyone in any walk of life, I have those days that don’t go as well as I would like. But I’m committed and don’t expect success to be linear. Not every day is a good day, but there is good in every day, and your attitude makes all the difference.

I am not long returned from the Cannes Incentive trip with other Forever Business Owners.  The experience, the fun and community are hard to describe, but it cemented even more firmly in my heart that this business, this incredible company filled with such support and positivity, is where my future lies.
