I knew this was for me
For the last ten years I have worked for a utility company in an administration role, but for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to become a teacher. My admin role was ideal at the time as it allowed me to study and volunteer in local schools around a part-time teaching degree.
In January 2014, whilst on maternity leave from work/study with my second little boy, I was introduced to Forever by my friend and mentor via Facebook. At the time I was suffering severely with post-natal depression and thought it would be an ideal way to create an extra income without having to leave the house. Straight away I knew this was for me, although I didn't see the full potential – just an extra £200 sounded fantastic to top up my maternity pay. This felt like a big goal at the time. I never looked at the Marketing Plan because I hadn’t heard of network marketing, so the larger income amounts seemed unachievable for someone like me. How wrong was I?
Later that year, we found out that the utility company I worked for was making our site redundant. I was ecstatic because I knew that I had my hands on something magic with Forever and that's when things really started to take shape. My business had already begun to match the income I had earned in my job so my goals started to get bigger and I set my sights on reaching Manager. In August we went to California on a three-week holiday, which provided even more inspiration for my business and I hit Manager on our return.
We have many goals as a family for 2015, one being the Chairman’s Bonus and getting my team there too. I want my cheque for my dad who has been so supportive throughout my life – he has helped so much with my family. I want to repay him by putting a deposit down on a house of his choice.
My personal development has been my greatest achievement in the business and I owe that to my incredible team, my amazing mentor and my beautiful family – because without them, none of this would have been possible. I am so excited to see what 2015 will bring us. My husband and I are aiming for everything on the Marketing Plan and I couldn't do it without his love and support.
